I've had the misfortune of being in that very situation. I was lucky enough to have my brother there to just end the song. I hit him with my Strat, and I was mad. But now that I look back on things, he saved me from going further into Sadville than I already had. Too bad no one had the balls to say, "No Jimmy, no. Just stop. Play the next song."
